Quack

All the cautiously worded, exceedingly gracious, very Canadian wording couldn't keep U.S. delegate Harlan Watson from storming out of the room at the climate change summit in Montreal: "open-ended" talks to draw up "broader negotiations" with "non-binding commitments..." About global warming? Hell no! The U.S. stood alone among 151 countries in refusing to agree, and Dr. Watson responded like he was at a 150-person intervention. "I don't have a fossil fuel problem! I can quit any time I want!"

Explaining how he could find offense to language such as "agreeing to further talks", Dr. Watson responded "If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it's a duck." NPR reported that environmentalists handed out hundreds of rubber ducks to draw attention to America's hypocrisy, and somewhere a rubber-doggie doo factory owner drank himself into a stupor, lamenting the missed opportunity.
